Wopi is also an architecture to acquisition & development of individuals’ and workgroups’ competencies in line with the organisation’s core competence. The architecture’s main pillars are competency drivers (wopi), competency outcomes (wopi360) and jobs’ competency requirements. Jobs are in turn composed of job specific (unique), technical (professional) and, to all jobs general competencies - independent action, leadership, cooperation, planning & problem solving and viewing. The architecture is an integrative solution to recruitment, coaching and performance management and represents a generic philosophy of competence.
