Coaching
If competence is likened to riding a bicycle, coaching resembles its rehearsal. Knowing one’s riding wheels - motives, thinking and attitudes - increases control, skill and reach. In the best of cases, the ”biker” reaches destinations, i.e., a career or competency that he/she had never even dreamt about.
The coachée is “sent to terrain” to work through the insights gained at the assessment phase. He/she works through his/her action, planning and viewing challenges in everyday situations, complemented by rehearsal focused on leadership, teamwork, learning or stress management.
